When one stares into the Abyss, the Abyss stares into you…

By now, Tim White’s democidal rant has gotten around enough blogs that anyone reading my tiny slice of the Internet won’t be all that shocked by it.

Some thoughts:

A dog always returns to its vomit:

Tim’s “plan” is essentially the same espoused by Charles Manson and The Family– wait for whites to be wiped out by an impending race war, then emerging to lead the poor, incompetent “darkies” to an earthly Utopia. It was a stupid plan then, and it’s a ridiculously stupid idea today. Yet it’s exactly the core belief of Progressiveness/Leftism/Liberalism towards non-whites: they can’t possibly do for themselves, so they need the Enlightened to save them.

This is the reaction of a spoiled child:

The only difference between the tone of Tim’s rant and that of my brother’s in-law 2-year old niece is that Tim actually has a following, and the niece gets a regular swat on the ass when she goes off her handle.

    Progressives/Leftists/Liberals etc. are patronizing a**holes:

Seriously–didn’t everyone, upon reading this drivel, hear a snarky voice in the back their head quip: “Whattaya mean we, paleface?” What in the world makes Timmy Tantrum think that Blacks and Browns need him? Nobody respects a brown-noser, and everybody hates a patronizing suck-up.

The Republican Party is the de facto White Party:

Whites voted Republican 60% of the time in the 2010 elections, an increase of 14% from 2008. It would appear that Kathie Shaidle and Steve Sailer are right– the Republicans do not need minorities to win.* What the Republican Leadership learns from that remains to be seen. The Republicans will never be able to buy the votes of other ethnic groups the way the Democrats have, and they look like suck-ups when they try to do so; the 2010 elections show that the Party needs to start acting to the benefit of their base–Whites–if they intend to remain in power. This is the Stupid Party we are talking about, so chances are that they simply won’t learn the lesson, and loose in 2012.

* Yes, I noticed that Asians increased their votes for Repubs 18% since 2008, but they still voted Republican only 40% of the time in 2010–20% less than Whites. That means Asians went 60% Democrat. That may change in time, but for now the Asian vote remains with the Democrats.

“Race” matters, and allegiance to one’s ethnic group matters more than egalitarianism:

I’ve been giving a lot of thought to my exchange with Escarondito, the postings on race made by Obsidian, and the behavior of my non-white co-workers over the last two years, and I have come to the conclusion that the dream of MLK Jr. is dead. No matter how much you strive for a color-blind society, where all are judged by the content of their character, you will always be judged first and foremost by the color of your skin. Race–however you choose to define it–is so deeply ingrained into our society that it cannot be extracted. You cannot force egalitarianism without creating a society not worth living in– we can be free, or we can be equal, but not both.

It’s depressing– I always considered MLK Jr.’s dream to be a truly Enlightened one, even saintly. I guess I forgot that the majority of Mankind is Fallen.

If you’re not a liberal when you’re 25, you have no heart. If you’re not a conservative by the time you’re 35, you have no brain.~ François Guizot. I guess the same applies when you choose to be an egalitarian or part of an ethnic– if you identify as White when you’re young, you have no heart; if you don’t identify as White when you’re 35, you have no brain.

So be it.

Tim Wise may be white, but he sure doesn’t identify with his own people. Of course, he’s also part of The Tribe…

That depends on what you mean by “his own people”; he obviously feels affinity to the Left ( he does post at the Daily Kos )– allegiance to a group is highly flexible these days.
